Recycling for Art project; calling for hands
The floating Artland collective is ready to deliver a series of workshops related with the making of sculptures and the construction and de-construction of diverse structures mainly made of recycled materials like plastic bottles, plastic bags, card board, paper and many other materials.
The outcomes of the workshops will be displayed on the day of the Plaistow festival on the 23rd of June 2018.
360° FILMING WORKSHOP WITH TERESA BARTASEVICIUTE
This 2 part practical workshop will introduce you to the basics of 360° filming – how it looks and feels, how it works and how it is shot. You’ll get an opportunity to be part of Floating Artland Collective recycled materials sculpture building workshops and will film with 360 camera how these sculptures are being made. It will give you a feel of this new medium and an exciting new experience.
Artists Indra Gavenaite, Fabiola Retamozo, Teresa Bartasaviciute and Marcelo Rodriguez will prepare a series of art seasons in which recycled materials transform into art works, using methods such us constructing by experimenting, by applying different techniques and media, by discussing and joining forces to build the structures which more than one person can express their inner feelings together.

Building and art material will be provided, but you can also bring your own recyclables.
